Amazing show!
The playing was wonderful. It's great to hear Godfrey hitting those high notes. I loved his operatic style. Nearly 30 years later and they're still going strong. The singer talked a little and joked a little. The only quibble I have is that they were supposed to do the entire Empire album and they never did Silent Lucidity. I think it contributed to a better show. I loved the small venue because it made the evening more intimate and it relaxed the band. I'd say it's the best I've seen them play in years. I had a great time. I'd definitely go back to the House of Blues again. I really wanted to hear that one. It's a great little venue.
